Priced on outcomes, not plumbing

The metered unit is the analysis run: one full ingest, engine, narrative, and report, charged as a unit of value delivered rather than per connector. All six platforms are included on every tier, and Growth/Agency add two enterprise connectors in beta (SA360, DV360) plus, also in beta, a GA4 conversion cross-check: a read-only referee rather than a seventh platform. Annual billing is two months free.

Every tier also includes team roles (owner / admin / analyst / viewer), a tenant-scoped audit log, data export & deletion (GDPR/CCPA), a self-host (Docker) option, and Spanish / German / French locale packs for Google Ads and Meta exports. No limits on account size or data volume. Connect a 300,000-ad-group account on any tier. You're billed for analysis runs, not rows.

14-day trial · 3 runs · no credit card. Three runs is enough to analyze one account across two time windows plus one "aha" re-run, which is where the value lands. Convert on the first report, not a paywall.

Why every platform is included: data-pipe and dashboard tools meter on data sources, so the bill climbs each time you add a platform. TrailMap prices the opposite way: a customer who connects all six platforms and one who uploads a single CSV pay the same for the same number of runs, because the analysis is the deliverable.

Pricing FAQ

What buyers ask

Why pay for this when Google Ads gives me recommendations for free?

Google's recommendations optimize for Google's objective and score you on adopting them. TrailMap is independent and cross-channel. It decomposes impression-share loss (budget vs. rank), mines search-term waste into negative-keyword themes, flags creative fatigue, and finds cross-channel reallocation across all six platforms in one report, then hands you a prioritized action plan with effort/impact ratings rather than a scored to-do list that nudges your budget up. Free advice that sells you more media isn't free.

My VA or junior already pulls these reports, so why do I need a tool?

Your VA can export a CSV; interpreting it like a senior analyst is a different skill and takes hours per account. TrailMap does the interpretation in minutes and shows the math for every number, so your team's time goes to executing the recommendations instead of hunting for them. At Starter ($79/mo) you break even the first time it saves two hours of skilled work, and it's consistent every run, not dependent on who's on the account this week.

Per-run pricing feels metered, and I don't want a taxi meter running.

It isn't metered usage-billing; it's a flat monthly subscription with a generous run allowance (10 / 40 / 150). Runs don't cost you per click or per dollar of spend the way audit suites charge. Most Starter users run well under 10 a month. If you consistently need more, that's a signal to move up a tier, and you always know your bill in advance.

Do you charge by ad spend, rows, or account size?

No. Volume isn't a line item on any tier. A 300,000-ad-group account analyzes on Starter the same as on Agency; the tiers differ on runs, seats, and client workspaces, never on how much data you bring. Connectors sync in the background in bounded pages and resume where they left off if a sync is interrupted, so a big account is a connection to set up, not a plan to upgrade. Direct file upload is capped at 100 MB per file on every paid plan (25 MB on the trial), the same ceiling on Starter as on Agency.

Why is Growth ($199) more than a reporting dashboard?

Dashboard and data-pipe tools move and display your data, but a human still has to read it and decide what to do. TrailMap delivers the decision: prioritized recommendations, effort/impact ratings, and a plain-language senior-analyst narrative, on top of the dashboard and a client-ready single-file report. You're not paying more for a prettier chart; you're paying for the analyst layer those tools don't have.

How do I know the AI isn't making up numbers?

By design, the model never does arithmetic. Every figure (impression-share loss, wasted spend, ROAS deltas, reallocation amounts) is computed by the deterministic engine and fidelity-checked before the narrative is generated. The LLM only writes the explanation and prioritization around numbers it's handed. If a number is in the report, a machine calculated it and verified it.

Can I bring my own LLM key, or keep data in my own environment?

The LLM cost is a tiny fraction of the subscription, and the value is the deterministic engine and analyst framework around the model, not raw token access, so bring-your-own-key isn't an in-app pricing lever. For data-residency and compliance needs, Agency plans can point TrailMap at a self-hosted, OpenAI-compatible endpoint, so prompt content stays inside your own infrastructure.

I run many clients, so do I pay per client?

No. One Agency subscription runs up to 25 isolated client workspaces, each with its own data and its own white-label brand, off one pooled run allowance and one pooled seat pool, with a portfolio view across every client. You don't pay per client or per connector. (Growth runs up to 3 workspaces for smaller or multi-brand teams.) One honest limit: each analysis run is one client's data at a time, so you get the portfolio at a glance, not a single blended cross-client report yet.

Do you support SSO, an audit trail, or self-hosting?

Yes. SSO via OIDC (Okta / Azure AD / Google Workspace) is available on the Agency tier. A tenant-scoped audit log, data export and full account deletion (GDPR/CCPA), and a self-host option via Docker are included on every plan. Team access is role-based (owner / admin / analyst / viewer), and your data is per-tenant isolated, never pooled, and never used to train a model.

Can I use TrailMap programmatically?

On Growth and Agency, yes. A public REST API (v1) with scoped API keys lets you trigger runs and pull report payloads from your own code, Zapier, or a BI job. Programmatic runs draw from the same monthly allowance, so the API is a convenience, not a separate meter.

Do you support SA360 or DV360?

Yes, on Growth and Agency: SA360 (Search Ads 360) for cross-engine paid search and DV360 (Display & Video 360) for programmatic display/video, TrailMap's newest channel (CPM outliers, viewability, frequency saturation, video-completion rate). Both connect the same way as every other platform, with OAuth, encryption at rest, and one-click sync, but as newer integrations they're currently in beta: validated against live accounts on request rather than broadly production-certified yet.

Is the GA4 cross-check another platform to pay for?

No. GA4 is priced and positioned like SA360/DV360 (Growth and Agency, beta), but it has no spend and no campaigns, and it isn't counted among the "six platforms" on every tier. Connected read-only, it pulls the conversions Google Analytics has already attributed to each paid channel, so you get an independent second opinion on what a platform claims, never blended into claimed totals.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Subscriptions run through Stripe's customer portal, so you can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel whenever you like. Upgrades apply instantly; downgrades take effect at the end of the billing period; a missed payment keeps access during a grace window rather than cutting you off mid-analysis.
