Priced on outcomes, not plumbing

The metered unit is the analysis run — one full ingest, engine, narrative, and report — a unit of value delivered, not a per-connector charge. All six platforms are included on every tier. Annual billing is two months free.

Why every platform is included: data-pipe and dashboard tools meter on data sources, so the bill climbs each time you add a platform. TrailMap prices the opposite way — a customer who connects all six platforms and one who uploads a single CSV pay the same for the same number of runs, because the analysis is the deliverable.

Pricing FAQ

What buyers ask

Why pay for this when Google Ads gives me recommendations for free?

Google's recommendations optimize for Google's objective and score you on adopting them. TrailMap is independent and cross-channel — it decomposes impression-share loss (budget vs. rank), mines search-term waste into negative-keyword themes, flags creative fatigue, and finds cross-channel reallocation across all six platforms in one report — and hands you a prioritized action plan with effort/impact ratings, not a scored to-do list that nudges your budget up. Free advice that sells you more media isn't free.

My VA or junior already pulls these reports — why do I need a tool?

Your VA can export a CSV; interpreting it like a senior analyst is a different skill and takes hours per account. TrailMap does the interpretation in minutes and shows the math for every number, so your team's time goes to executing the recommendations instead of hunting for them. At Starter ($79/mo) you break even the first time it saves two hours of skilled work — and it's consistent every run, not dependent on who's on the account this week.

Per-run pricing feels metered — I don't want a taxi meter running.

It isn't metered usage-billing; it's a flat monthly subscription with a generous run allowance (10 / 40 / 150). Runs don't cost you per click or per dollar of spend the way audit suites charge. Most Starter users run well under 10 a month. If you consistently need more, that's a signal to move up a tier — and you always know your bill in advance.

Why is Growth ($199) more than a reporting dashboard?

Dashboard and data-pipe tools move and display your data — a human still has to read it and decide what to do. TrailMap delivers the decision: prioritized recommendations, effort/impact ratings, and a plain-language senior-analyst narrative, on top of the dashboard and a client-ready single-file report. You're not paying more for a prettier chart; you're paying for the analyst layer those tools don't have.

How do I know the AI isn't making up numbers?

By design, the model never does arithmetic. Every figure — impression-share loss, wasted spend, ROAS deltas, reallocation amounts — is computed by the deterministic engine and fidelity-checked before the narrative is generated. The LLM only writes the explanation and prioritization around numbers it's handed. If a number is in the report, a machine calculated it and verified it.

Can I bring my own LLM key, or keep data in my own environment?

The LLM cost is a tiny fraction of the subscription, and the value is the deterministic engine and analyst framework around the model, not raw token access — so bring-your-own-key isn't an in-app pricing lever. For data-residency and compliance needs, Agency plans can point TrailMap at a self-hosted, OpenAI-compatible endpoint, so prompt content stays inside your own infrastructure.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Subscriptions run through Stripe's customer portal — upgrade, downgrade, or cancel whenever you like. Upgrades apply instantly; downgrades take effect at the end of the billing period; a missed payment keeps access during a grace window rather than cutting you off mid-analysis.
